For those of us that work professional jobs, but still want to celebrate St. Patrick's day with a bit o' green, this is a good mix. It features my favorite tank top in green and my favorite pumps in black, plus a bargain name brand blazer and pair of pants. Not to shabby for only $28!

This outfit is shown as Week 2, Day 1 of my 3 Months of Clothes.

Stripes, Khakis and Bling

I love this necklace. My husband is not so much a fan. But that's okay. I think it is a great statement piece...obnoxiously over-the-top bling. Which is why I wear it without any other jewelry and with a fairly simple, clean outfit. This is a "casual Friday" outfit of mine, meaning khakis vs. dress pants and no jacket. I think it is important to know your body type and what flatters you. One thing I have learned over time is that 3/4 sleeves are great for me and I love the crispness of this top.

This outfit is shown as Week 1, Day 5 of my 3 Months of Clothes.

Shirt - Target ($12, exact)
GAP Khaki Pants - Goodwill ($4)
Nude Karmen Pumps - Payless ($12 on sale with coupon, exact)
Crystal Leaf Necklace - Groopdealz.com ($14 shipped)

Plaid Layers and Pearls

This winter I am finally getting into more layering. Both of these tops were great scores this past summer from ARC Thrift Store. The pants were a Goodwill find many years ago. The shoes are the super comfortable Karmen pumps from Payless that I have in about 10 colors. Love them!

This outfit is shown as Week 1, Day 3 of my 3 Months of Clothes.

Button Up Top - $3 (ARC Thrift Store)
Sweater - $4 (ARC Thrift Store)
Pants - $4 (Goodwill)
Pumps - $12 on sale with coupon & free shipping (Payless, exact)

This necklace was a super clearance item from Groopdealz.com. It was $7 including shipping!

Navy Blazer, Stipes and Gray Pants

I splurged a bit (for me!) on my navy blazer and the camisole underneath, but I think that my deals on the pants and shoes make up for it. I had been looking for a navy blazer and this one fit great. The sleeves are a tad too long because I did not get a petite size, but when you role them up they a great stripe lining. The link below goes to the exact blazer, but in the petite sizes. If you are petite, I would recommend getting that and then you can roll up the sleeves for a 3/4 look with pizzazz.

I had stumbled across the striped shirt underneath awhile ago on Amazon and added to my wishlist. I don't normally buy clothes on Amazon, but this piece had great reviews and a good price for a quality name brand. I really like that the v-neck also has V stripes, making it a unique find. The pants have been in my wardrobe for years and have held up great. They are New York and Company and were a Goodwill score. I find work pants and jackets to be some of the best things to snag at Goodwill.

The pumps are my favorite high heels. They are just the right height, and super comfortable for being on your feet for hours or walking a fair distance. I usually check out the new colors each season and wait for a sale and coupon combo. I love this particular pair so much that I have had to take them to the cobbler to get them re-heeled once already. For all the wear and tear I give them, they are in excellent shape.

This outfit is shown as Week 1, Day 2 of my 3 Months of Clothes.

Navy Blazer - $25 (Target Clearance, exact)
Striped Jones of New York Top - $18 (Amazon, exact)
Dark Gray Dress Pants - $4 (Goodwill)
Gray Fabric Karmen Pumps - $15 (Payless, same style/different colors)

Weekend Wear: Olive, Dark Skinny Jeans, and Brown Boots

I put together my new 3 Months of Clothes Schedule, but that really is my work/professional wardrobe. It's great to have those outfits set up and ready to go, but I love being able to NOT have my non-work clothes planned out because then I can put together whatever strikes my fancy. Today, it was the color olive and my tall brown boots. I have had the sweater since I was pregnant with Gabriel...and I spent a lot more than I usually would put towards a sweater. It used to be matched with a white tank top. That is until my favorite tank top came out in a perfectly matching olive color this past fall. I have also had the jeans for many years, but just found tall boots that fit over my muscular calves last year. Cozy and classy. The jewelry is all lia sophia, and no longer available, but these styles can easily be found at a variety of stores. Today, I went with a wavy textured look to my usually very straight hair.

Sweater - $30 (6 years old, Spiegel)
Tank Top - $7 (Target)
Skinny Jeans - $7 (TJ Maxx sale, 5 years old)
Boots - $35 (Payless sale, 2013)

Here is another version of the outfit from before I had my tall brown boots. You can see that today's outfit was closer to my original Pinsperation.
